A whole house interior in white oak, limewashed plaster and linen. Beamed ceilings and tall black framed windows carry the same quiet palette from the dining room through to the bedrooms.
The house is held together by three materials. White oak runs through the floors, beams and wall panelling, limewashed plaster softens every other surface, and the windows are framed in black to give the rooms an edge.
The beamed ceilings were built to finish, not boxed in afterwards. Spacing was set out from the window grid so the beams, openings and lighting line up from every side of the room.
Bedrooms repeat the same palette at a smaller scale, with panelled headboard walls and built in storage kept flush to the plaster line, so the whole house reads as one project rather than a set of rooms.
