A retail interior built around a single idea: one continuous plastered shell, lit from within, with a solid stone counter set into it like a found object. Curved walls, hand applied finishes and concealed cove lighting carry the whole room, so nothing on the floor has to work hard.
The shell is the project. Walls curve into the ceiling with no reveal, finished in a warm mineral plaster that changes with the light through the day. Cove lighting is buried in the curve, so the brightest surface in the room is the wall itself rather than any fixture you can point at.
The counter is a single block of stone, left with its natural face on the exposed sides and cut flat on top. Setting it meant coordinating the slab delivery against the floor pour and the wall finish, and building the room around the piece rather than fitting it in afterwards.
Everything else is deliberately quiet. Rails are slender brass, the floor is a seamless troweled finish with no thresholds, and the storage and services sit behind the plaster line.
